Over my few years of outdoor livestreaming I've slowly evolved my streaming gear into a few different setups. Getting started in outdoor streaming can seem like a tough endeavor, but I hope the resources here can help set you in the right direction!
If you have any questions on my educational outdoor livestreaming setup or getting your setup up and running, feel free to message me. You can also join the Belabox discord. They are super helpful and were a vital resource when making my setup.

SRT is the future! I recently switched from the LiveU to this new setup and am loving it. The Jetson Nano (if you can find one) is an amazing device. The setup can be complex and I have slightly different versions depending on the content so I have a dedicated page below.

This used to be my go to setup, was very convenient, but it came at a cost and was quite power hungry. On top of the price of a solo, for bonding you also need to pay ~$45/month for LRT service.
If your network is strong and overheating isn't a big issue, then use your phone! I've never streamed from my phone but apps like streamlabs, prism live, and larix are good places to start looking!
You have choices to stream direct to Twitch or choose an RTMP endpoint. The RTMP then sends your video to OBS so you can have overlays. A lot of resources exist for setting up the RTMP and associated programs like NOALBS (for auto scene changes and OBS control), so I won't get into details on that here. Here is a link for NOALBS and Nginx.
There are some cheaper encoders that can encode and send video via RTMP. You will need an NGINX RTMP endpoint running on a cloud server or your home PC. These encoders aren't typically user friendly, and I remember quite a few headaches when I tried one.

The go to shoulder cam, but no longer in production. Good luck finding one! Has a very hot mic input but great stabilization. USB/micro HDMI ports also very fragile so be sure to use a Sony CPTR1 Cable Protector.
The super zoom for most birding streams and all launch coverage. 3000mm zoom so great for those distant shots. Would not recommend if you want nice photos. Also requires a Field Monitor since screen goes black via HDMI out.
Sometimes use this one for birding but mainly used for macro, home webcam, streak shots, nicer photos/video, and "vlogging" moments. Have Sigma 16mm f/1.4, Canon 28mm f/3.5 macro, Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3, and Canon kit 15-45mm f/3.5-6.3 lenses. I also have a SmallRig cage and HDMI cable clamp for protection.
Great UHF wireless microphones. Run off AA batteries so I use the rechargeable Panasonic Eneloop Pro Batteries with a XTAR VC8 Type C 3A Fast 18650 Charger

The best wireless RTMP cam input Belabox that I've found that also allows a wireless mic connection (DJI Mic2).

DJI Mic 2 is the best mic to connect to the Action 4 since it does not require the receiver.
My go to as a dashcam and when I need lots of stabilization when biking or kayaking. Has its cons like no audio via HDMI out, screen goes off, and HDMI port can sometimes jiggle too much. I like the idea behind it though. Magnetic base is interesting too.

Backpack with ATEM mini
Overview of the stream setup for HDMI switching
I've made two separate stream bags using Belabox. One is more intense for my birding and rocket launch coverage streams where I need HDMI switching capabilities for multiple camera inputs and consistent audio quality. I've also made a "lite" version for cycling, metal detecting, and just when I don't need the ATEM. I forever searched for the best wireless camera solution that allowed RTMP into the Belabox and also a wireless mic input to the camera. DJI Action 4 and DJI Mic2 finally allowed this and quality is good enough for me.
Overview of the more wireless 'lite' stream setup
The Belabox setup uses a Jetson Nano to act as an encoder and network bonder. Most importantly it uses SRT instead of RTMP. There is much better info out there than what I can provide here. RationalIRL (the Belabox dev) also has a great discord community.
Why Nano/Belabox over LiveU Solo?
If the technical aspect of the setup concerns you, Rational has made it super easy to get up and running if you can flash an SD card. Sometimes you have some messing around to do related to power issues and modems, but his Discord is very helpful. If you stick to the recommended equipment list and short cables, you should not have issues. LiveU is more plug and play if you have an RTMP endpoint.
Summary of specific Belabox items I use:
Encoder: Jetson Nano 2GB running Belabox
Capture Card: Elgato Cam Link 4K
USB Hub: iDsonix 4-port 5V/2A
USB-A to Type-C Cable: JXMOX 0.8ft 3 Pack
USB-A to Type-C Cable: Etguuds 2-Pack, 1ft
Metal Case: Jetson Nano Metal Case/Enclosure
Fan: 5V Cooling Fan
USB Sound Card (if not using ATEM): CableCreation USB Audio Adapter
Battery: Charmast 23800mAh 20W PD* (powers Nano, USB fans, and shoulder cam from same battery with no issue)
Modems: Verizon Wireless Jetpack 7730L, MiFi 7000 for AT&T, T-Mobile Test Drive with Mint Mobile Sim (referral link)
WiFi Adapter: TP-Link TL-WN725N

Overview of the stream setup
There's not much to add here that hasn't been said on the other pages. LiveU Solo works and gets the job done. If budget isn't a massive issue and you don't want to deal with as much tech troubleshooting, then it's a solid choice. In my opinion, I would not go for a Solo if building my first IRL bag. At least not until they support something other than RTMP.
